A unique Alpina B12 6.0 is on sale in Germany

This stretched BME E38 sedan remade into an Alpina B12 with six liters of engine displacement is looking for a new owner in Germany who would pay €55,000 for its unique exterior finish.

We are told that Alpina only produced 94 such cars in 1999-2001 (see video), and there was only one example in British Racing Green. It was built in 2000, had two owners, and now shows around 200,000 km (124,000 miles) of use.

The trim is quite luxurious: 20-inch multi-spoke rims, adaptive shock absorbers, a large infotainment display, double pane glass in the doors, and a black leather trim with green and blue accents. The tailgate has a hydraulic lift, all seats are heated, the front seat backs are adjustable on a per-section basis, and the steering column also offers a number of tweaks for maximum driving comfort.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated V12 the likes of which the BMW 750iL used to ship with. The stock output is 326 PS (321 hp / 240 kW), but Alpina makes sure it rises to 430 PS (424 hp / 316 kW). Going 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) takes 5.9 seconds, and the top speed lies at 291 km/1 (180 mph).
