Alpine has posted the first photos of its conceptual coupe named Alpenglow. The design study will preview tech and features of future Alpine cars when it debuts live at the Paris Motor Show. A full reveal is set to take place tomorrow, October 13.
The name Alpenglow refers to a meteorological phenomenon that manifests as a red streak running across the sky as the sun sets in a mountainous area. The headlamps in particular play around this idea.
As far as we can judge by the shots, the concept is a hypercar equipped with a fairly large front splitter, complex wheel arches and a prominent rear wing. Overall, it looks like an endurance racer.
Alpine stays tight-lipped about the powertrain, but we wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the car is all-electric by design.
