Alpine A110 Sports X debuts with lifted suspension and ski holders

Renault-controlled car brand Alpine has come to the Paris International Automobile Festival 2020 with an SUV-like variant of its A110 sports car.

The A110 Sports X boasts a suspension lift, a redesigned rear end with air vents next to the brake lights, and ski holders.

The SUV styling only extends as far as the body, the large front bumper, air intakes, under shields, and wheel arch extensions. The car still comes driven by its standard 1.8-liter turbocharged engine, its output varying between versions. In Pure and Legende specs, it produces 252 hp (188 kW) alongside 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque, while the range-topping A110S gets 292 hp (218 kW) out of its. A seven-speed DSG sends the momentum to the rear wheels.
