Alpine teases three new EVs

French automaker Alpine has revealed a teaser image showing the outlines of its three upcoming battery-powered cars, including an A110 successor co-designed with Lotus, a hot hatch and a Grand Tourer not unlike the Audi e-tron GT.

The Alpine A110 successor will come based on the E-Sports platform. The performance hatchback will utilize CMF-BEV tech and have 400 kilometers (248 miles) of range. It will mainly resemble the Renault 5 (see video), although the large wing at the rear makes us think of the older Renault 5 Turbo popular in the 1980s.

As for the GT model, all we know is that it should have around 580 kilometers (360 miles) of electric range. Once out, it will likely face competition from the Audi e-tron GT and the Porsche Taycan.

The brand’s development strategy envisions launching 10 new EVs by 2025, including 7 with the Renault badge on them. The first car from the trio announced today is expected to emerge in 2024.
