An unhinged custom vehicle built by Danton Art Kustoms (France) using AM General Hummer parts will cross the auction block later this month without a cost estimate. Packing a 6.2-liter V8 and a third axle, it is certainly an attention-grabber.
The tuner fabricated a bespoke chassis for the project and put a 2009 Hummer bodywork on top of it. The body was shortened, the roof chopped and the rear doors slimmed down to achieve the proportions seen in the photos. An aggressive custom bumper was added as well.
Making the build even more bizarre is the fact that it has a transaxle engine mounted in the space between the passenger cabin and the two rear axles. It is a standard, non-tuned Dodge Hellcat V8 paired with an automatic transmission and delivering 717 PS (707 hp / 527 kW) to just one pair of 24-inch rear wheels. The front axle makes do with 20-inch rollers.
Other notable details include a diffuser-like ribbed attachment at the rear end and a humongous rear wing said to have been molded from an airplane wing. The remaining specifications aren’t available.
