Back in 2017, Apollo Automobili produced the Intensa Emozione, a super sports coupe with a carbon-fiber chassis, a six-speed sequential transmission, and a V12 rated at 780 PS (769 hp / 574 kW) under the hood. At a recent expo in Shanghai, a successor to that model named the Project Evo was announced.
The new car has a most unusual exterior design reminiscent of futuristic space ship sketches. The headlights are X-shaped, while the rear end sports six red LED stripes arranged in a star-like pattern. There are also three tailpipes.
The manufacturer claims that the aerodynamic kit is practical and has extensible parts that improve downforce. This includes a massive rear spoiler that can adjust itself automatically.
Other technical details remain undisclosed, but the original Apollo IE sprinted 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.7 seconds.
