The British luxury car brand Aston Martin just registered a new product name, ‘Varekai’. Industry-savvy people tend to agree that this is what the company’s first-ever crossover vehicle will be called once it becomes ready for production. The car was announced some time ago and should take the DBX Concept as basis.
There is still another opinion. The hypothetical new Aston Martin Varekai might actually prove to be a reincarnation of the classical Aston Martin Lagonda with a full-electric drivetrain. No official comment has been made to confirm any of these rumors to date.
One thing is certain, though: the new product name will seamlessly merge into the model lineup consisting of such cars as Vantage, Vanquish, and Valkyrie.
