The successor to the Aston Martin DB11 will debut on May 24, 2023. In the meantime, you can check out its headlights on the first camo-free teaser pic.
The otherwise uninformative image has a caption on the official website saying, ‘The heir to DB11 will shortly be taking its throne’. CarBuzz believes it to be an overt nod to the coronation of King Charles III of Great Britain on May 6. All technical details remain to be revealed, but the publication supposes that the new car will be called ‘DB12’ and powered by Mercedes-AMG V8 engines.
The same German company may also supply infotainment hardware, although Aston Martin will want to come up with its own UI and features for it.
Spy photos of a camouflaged Aston Martin prototype surfaced in March this year, leading us to believe that the new model will mainly offer evolutionary design changes over its predecessor.
The first deliveries are expected this fall.
