Aston Martin DB11 AMR announced

Aston Martin, an English manufacturer of luxury sport cars, has voiced plans to build an AMR modification of the Aston Martin DB11 supercar. Its official premiere may take place later this year.

The corresponding statement can be found on the website of the brand. It is likely that the car will be issued as part of a limited series. No prices or technicalities are being discussed at the moment.

Industry pros expect the supercar to come equipped with reworked suspension, a power-packed engine, better brakes and lighter body. In contrast to its series-produced counterpart, it is going to be somewhat lower due to reduced road clearance.

The regular Aston Martin DB11 ships with a V12 engine that accelerates it 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than four seconds. The vehicle can go faster than 320 km/h (200 mph).

Another Aston Martin DB11 modification has been unveiled recently. That one came with a 503 hp (375 kW) strong V8 engine and could achieve the same acceleration in four seconds flat.
