This finely crafted James Bond’s car replica just found a buyer who handed over U.S. $200,000 for it – an unprecedented act of generosity if you consider that it lacks a powertrain and probably cannot be retrofitted with one, either.
The body is represented by glass-fiber panels mounted on a tubular frame. Both stainless-steel bumpers are new and original designs, while the wheels, radiator grille, headlights and badges stem from a real Aston Martin DB5.
True to its heritage, the copy packs a plethora of spy movie-themed upgrades, including bullet proofing, an antenna to detect tracking devices, flipping license plates, machine guns (fake), a radar-based map, a phone, and an ejector seat (also fake).
