Aston Martin packages DB5 like a scale model for a movie ad

Aston Martin is interested in drawing in as much of an audience as possible to the next James Bond movie, so it took a DB5 Coupe and put it into a giant toy box.

The installation can be found sitting at Battersea Power Station, an abandoned coal power plant in London, where it will stay until October 1, 2021. The packaging looks similar to what Corgi scale replicas used to sell in.

In the new movie titled No Time to Die, the Agent 007 once again gets behind the steering wheel of an Aston Martin DB5, The iconic coupe first starred in Goldfinger, which came out 57 years ago.

The movie features other Astons as well, including a Valhalla, a Series II V8 Vantage and a DBS Superleggera. It will premiere on September 28 after being postponed several times in a row due to Covid 19-related restrictions. It is the 25th instalment in the James Bond franchise and the last one to star Daniel Craig.

Aston Martin announced the DB5 Goldfinger Continuation last year. Only 25 units will be made and outfitted with an entire range of spy gadgets found in the movies.
