Lunaz, a UK-based car company specializing in classic ICE car electrification, has unveiled its latest work, touted as ‘the most nature-friendly Aston Martin ever created.’ Converting a DB6 into an EV took a cool £650,000.
The original Grand Tourer used a four-liter engine to send around 282 PS (278 hp / 207 kW) to the wheels. Once rebuilt, it got rid of the engine in favor of an electric motor with 375 PS (370 hp / 276 kW) and a battery pack of unspecified size.
The car looks gorgeous on the outside and inside, and makes active use of eco-friendly, biodegradable trim materials. For example, the dashboard trim and the transmission selector are both made from reprocessed shells of bird eggs and nuts. Plant fiber was used to make the door panels, and the list can go on.
