Aston Martin unveils the DBS GT Zagato

The British luxury carmaker has torn the wraps off the second supercar that makes up an anniversary duo with the vintage DB4 GT Zagato.

The series celebrates the centennial anniversary of the Zagato division and consists of 19 pairs of cars (you won’t be able to purchase a DBS GT without a DB4 GT, or vice versa). Each couple will cost £6,000,000.
The Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato had previously been introduced at Audrain’s Newport Concours, but no details have been revealed until now.

The supercar uses the DBS Superleggera chassis, but sports an original body and cabin. The outside badges and emblems are made from 18-carat solid gold. The same precious metal is present on the cabin furnishings, although the company says it will add other materials upon customer’s request. This is also the first time the company uses 3D printing to create interior trim details. For instance, certain metallic parts take 100 hours to print and even longer to polish.

Each Aston Martin DBS GT Zagato comes powered by the standard 5.2-liter DBS Superleggera V12 rated at 725 hp (541 kW) and 900 Nm (664 pound-feet) of torque.
