Used Aston Martin DBS Superleggera crops up on sale priced higher than new

A year-old Aston Martin DBS Superleggera can be yours if you can stomach the $359,000 USD asking price, even though the base model cost around $320,000 at launch. The seller explains that the model was the fastest Aston Martin car at the time of debut, and this example only has barely more than 2,000 km (1,250 miles) under its belt.

The coupe sports a Sabiro Blue carbon body kit with bronze accents and has black leather in the cabin. It also makes use of carbon-ceramic brakes, 21-inch wheels, tinted lights, ventilated seats, and an $8,600 Bang & Olufsen BeoSound system.

The model runs on the same chassis as the DB11, but has its own exterior styling and engine. The latter is a 5.2-liter V12 boosted to 725 PS (715 hp / 533 kW) and 900 Nm (888 hp / 664 lb-ft) of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission delivers the power to the wheels with a self-locking differential on the rear axle.

Sprinting from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 3.4 seconds, and the top speed lies as high up as 340 km/h (211 mph).
