Aston Martin working on a particularly powerful DBS version

Aston Martin is teasing a new version of its DBS supercar, dubbed the 770 Ultimate. It will be the last limited-run DBS model in history and also the most powerful of all, if rumors are to be believed.

It is worth pointing out that Aston Martin already has a special edition with a numeric index in the name: the DBX707, where 707 stands for the horsepower. As such, we have little reason to doubt that the upcoming DBS 770 Ultimate will pump out 770 PS (759 hp / 566 kW).

In its base version, the grand tourer packs a 5.2-liter V12 tuned to 725 PS (715 hp / 533 kW), which is enough to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.4 seconds. An eight-speed automatic transmission carries the torque to the wheels.

Chances are that the DBS 770 Ultimate will be issued in a strictly limited run and receive a visual makeover in addition to the engine upgrade.
