The British ultra-luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has posted a message on the official website saying it would like to resume the production of the Aston Martin DBS sports cars which halted in 2012. The company has also revealed a teaser video showing the refreshed vehicle and promising a premiere sometime this summer.
If we are to believe the teaser, then at least the front part of the car remains pretty much unaltered. It would be nice to learn something about the performance of the revived Aston Martin DBS, but the manufacturer doesn’t go into detail there.
The original Aston Martin DBS sports vehicle series came equipped with 5.9-liter V12 engines effortlessly capable of 517 hp (385 kW) and 570 Nm (420 lb·ft) of torque. Each car could accelerate to 100 km/h (62 mph) in trifling 4.3 seconds.
