Aston Martin may be willing to postpone the reveal of its first-ever SUV until December, but it ought to have guarded it better against car photographers in that case.
By all indications, the magenta-colored DBX depicted here participated in a photoshoot – hence the lack of camo. Fluent lines, prominent body relief and new headlights are the main highlights for us here.
The DBX will ship packing a 4.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V8 engine rated close to 550 hp (410 kW) and 700 Nm (716 lb-ft) of torque, mated to a nine-speed auto transmission. It will send the power to all four wheels by means of the same 4WD system as the one that comes with the Mercedes-Benz GLE. The chassis is original, though, only partially based on the DB11 Coupe.
