Aston Martin DBX first interior pic revealed

Aston Martin’s first crossover SUV – the DBX – will debut in Beijing, China on November 20, 2019. In the meantime, the company treats us to the first photo of the car interior.

AM claims that it has conducted numerous surveys across large groups of potential DBX buyers to find out just what they would like to see inside the car. In the end, it attempted to design a cabin where everyone would feel completely relaxed and at home.

The highlights of the project include a strong emphasis on ergonomics and the use of exclusively high-quality, premium trimming materials. According to Aston Martin, the design team carefully tested the placement of every single button and dial to make sure it sits at the most convenient location possible.

Other than that, the Aston Martin DBX borrows much of its tech from Daimler AG. Among other things, it comes powered by the four-liter Mercedes-AMG V8 rated at 550 hp (410 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission and a transfer case will be tasked with sending the power to the rear wheels, but you may switch to AWD at any time.
