The Aston Martin DBX hasn’t even come out yet, but the British automaker has great plans in store for its first-ever crossover SUV.
First of all, it is reported that Aston Martin would like to produce a more compact, possibly coupe-like version of the DBX to compete with the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and the Porsche Cayenne Coupe.
Second, a seven-seater modification is also likely to emerge soon, inspired by the success of the BMW X7, Mercedes-Benz GLS and Bentley Bentayga.
Having said that, Aston Martin claims it will definitely not downsize its DBX platform to compete with the likes of the Porsche Macan. The chassis dimensions will stay the same.
As for the standard DBX, it has already proven to be extremely popular among customers and is expected to sell at least 4,000 units annually.
