Performance-laden Aston Martin DBX S spied testing

Aston Martin wants to expand its lucrative DBX lineup as much as possible, and that implies a high-end version as well. The test vehicle spotted on a track yesterday appears to fit that description – even though you might mistake it for stock at first.

Note the front fascia with much larger air intakes than usual. In fact, they now span all the way up to the anti-fog lights, suggesting that the engine underneath that hood requires better ventilation than before.

Then there is the rear end with quad tailpipes instead of the usual dual ones. Overall, it looks like the rumored DBX S specification, which some claim will get a V12. If we had to venture an opinion, Aston Martin would much rather ship it with a slightly optimized version of the standard V8. Having said that, none of it is official yet.
