Aston Martin DBX707 bows with 3.3s sprint time, 310 km/h top speed

Aston Martin has officially introduced a high-end ‘707’ spec of its DBX crossover, proclaiming it ‘the most powerful luxury SUV in the world. Let’s have a look at the numbers.

The engine makes 707 PS (697 hp / 520 kW) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque, enabling a sprint from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds. The standard DBX needs more than a second longer for the same test. The top speed is also considerably higher at 310 km/h (192.6 mph), a step up from 290 km/h (180.2 mph). A new nine-speed transmission switches fears faster than before, and major modifications can be found in the suspension, steering and differential departments as well.

On the outside, you can tell the DBX707 from its standard version thanks to 22-inch wheels, a larger radiator grille, a front splitter, DRLs, side sills, a rear spoiler, and a diffuser with quad exhaust tips. Different sport seats are the only change in the interior.

Sales will begin in the second quarter of 2022.
