Aston Martin has unveiled a new special edition of its DBX707 SUV. It shares the name with the company’s latest Formula 1 racecar (AMR23) and celebrates the marque’s success in the ongoing season, where it is poised to take the first place.
The Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One currently ranks second in the Constructors’ Cup, with Ferdinando Alonso scoring four victories out of five. Naturally, the automaker did not want to wait until the end of the season to launch the special edition.
The street-legal production DBX707 wears the same livery as Aston Martin’s official ambulance for the Formula 1 (see video): green with yellow accents with black alloy wheels. The interior is awash with carbon fiber and matches the exterior.
It is unknown how many examples will be made, but you can already order your own.
From the technical perspective, the SUV stays stock, meaning that its four-liter V8 still produces 707 PS (697 hp / 520 kW). It is enough to sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds and reach 310 km/h (192.6 mph). The manufacturer considers the DBX707 the fastest production SUV in its market segment.
