Aston Martin V12 Vantage is officially here, but you can’t buy it

We have been seeing the farewell edition of the Aston Martin Vantage run its pre-production tests for months now, and it is now officially available in a production run of 333 units. The catch is, the entire batch is already sold out with pricing still undisclosed to the masses.

The supercar weighs not that much at 1,795 kilos (3,957 lbs). This becomes possible thanks to extensive use of carbon fiber in its body and kit, including both bumpers, side sills, the hood, the trunk lid, and the fenders. In addition to the above, the supercar rides on lightweight 21-inch wheels, has a stainless-steel exhaust system and benefits from carbon-ceramic brakes.

Performance-wise, the final V12 Vantage needs 3.5 seconds to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill and tops out at 322 km/h (200 mph). Its twelve-cylinder engine drives the wheels through an eight-speed A/T with 690 PS (680 hp / 507 kW) and 753 Nm (743 hp / 554 kW).

Customers may opt for a package called Comfort to get enhanced noise proofing, a set of luggage bags, a full-body cover, floor mats, and more.
