A V12-packing Zagato super sports car cropped up on sale online and has already managed to attract a bid higher than $500,000 USD. The vehicle underwent full maintenance last year and has around 5,000 km (3,100 miles) on the odo.
Aston Martin Zagato has produced a total of 61 such cars since 2011 to celebrate 50 years of the DB4 GT model. The production had continued for two years, but only four cars ended up brought into the United States. This particular example was purchased in the UK in 2013 and made it into the USA a year after that.
The coupe flaunts an aluminum/carbon body finished in Fiamma Red, its seller claiming that the paintjob is unique in this series. Interior highlights include carbon-framed bucket seats, black leather upholstery with red stitching, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system.
The six-liter V12 the Zagato comes powered with exerts over 500 hp / 375 kW. The transmission is six-speed manual, brakes carbon-ceramic, shocks adjustable, wheels sized 19” across, and tires measuring 255/35 front and 295/30 rear.
