Aston Martin has shared the first teaser pic previewing an open-top modification of its Valkyrie superhybrid set to debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in the USA on August 12, 2021.
It looks like the roadster has traded its gull-wing doors for ‘scissor’ doors, a change that was likely dictated by its construction. As for the powertrain, we expect the 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 and the electric motor jointly rated around 1,115 PS (1,100 hp / 820 kW) to stay intact.
The original Valkyrie hit the spotlight four years ago (see video), but the company is still busy polishing its individual units and components before production. The planned total quantity is 150 units.
