Aston Martin has been delivering Valkyrie hypercars to their owners since November 2021, and now, its track-focused AMR Pro version has shipped as well. To celebrate the milestone, the automaker has tested one example on the Bahrain circuit before the start of the Formula One Gran Prix there.
Dirk Müller, who made two laps, said that the car felt closer to a Formula racer and had perfect handling, power and grip.
The first pre-production version of the Valkyrie AMR Pro debuted in 2018, but the manufacturer made multiple changes in its design later, delaying production to mid-2021. Each racecar comes powered by a 6.5-liter V12 capable of exceeding 1,000 horsepower (750 kilowatts).
