Video: Aston Martin needed 110 cars on track at once to set a new record

Aston Martin has posted a video dedicated to its 110th anniversary and the opening of a Formula One HQ. A total of 110 vehicles of the British car brand hit Silverstone Circuit at once, setting a record for the largest number of Aston Martin vehicles on any given track in history.

It was announced that the brand’s fans from all over the world assembled at Silverstone to drive the assorted Aston Martins created throughout the marque’s rich history. The oldest ride of all was an A3 model dating back more than a century.

A closer look at the parade reveals some of the automaker’s latest models like the DB12 and Valkyrie running next to old-timers such as the DB3S and DB5. Formula 1 racers were not omitted: take a closer look at the safety car and the ambulance. There was even a cameo from the elusive Cygnet, a premium take on the Toyota iQ.

As for the Aramco Cognizant Formula One Technology Campus mentioned above, it comprises three buildings and is meant to employ 700 personnel who will design, test and produce new models with their own wind tunnel always at hand.
