Aston Martin teases a mystery announcement, could be a Valkyrie facelift

The British automaker has posted an image of a vehicle set for premiere on February 12, 2024. The name isn’t specified, but Carscoops believes it’s the refreshed Vantage. Both the coupe and the roadster versions had been spotted on the streets before.

The image shows a car seat with an integrated headrest standing in the middle of the road. The company explains that it symbolizes the new level of synergy between the car and the driver: the two will be speaking the same language.

Most of the exterior changes will likely be evolutionary: the grille, the lights, the hood and the front bumper may get slight tweaks, and that’s about it. The interior is due a bigger overhaul and may end up looking like that of the DB12.

The currently used 4.0-liter V8 rated at 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) and 685 Nm (505 lb-ft) of torque should remain available. Still, Aston Martin has already boosted this engine to 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) in some models, so the Vantage should get something similar.

The British company first mentioned last fall that a premiere was coming in Q1 2024.
