The Vanquish Vision Concept is another AM’s Geneva debutant

Luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin has unveiled another new car at the ongoing Geneva show, this time a mid-engine, street-legal supercar called the Vanquish Vision Concept. It is worth noting that the British marque traditionally used the word “Vanquish” to denote its flagships.

The company says that the show car should give us an idea of what the production vehicle will look like. With it, the marque wants to expand into a new market segment (mid-priced luxury sports cars).

The coupe boasts a brand-new aluminum chassis the company designed from scratch. It comes armed with a V6 engine, but its specifications remain undisclosed.

The body design of the Aston Martin Vanquish Vision Concept is less extreme than that of the Valkyrie or the AM-RB 003, and is more traditional overall.

Further details are few and far between at the moment. The company says the car will stay true to the core values of the brand, which include low weight, high aerodynamic efficiency, and luxury trimming.

The production is scheduled for 2022.
