Has this rare Aston Martin lost half of its price over three years?

The 80th out of 99 produced Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Volante convertibles is up for grabs now with petty 19 km (12 miles) on the odometer. The supercar is reportedly in perfect condition, yet the bidding has been unusually slow.

At the time of writing, the top bid was U.S. $350,000, a fraction of the $818,000 the owner originally purchased it for. Then again, there is still some time until the auction ends.

The supercar was designed by Aston Martin and its in-house tuner, Zagato. It features an original carbon-fiber body finished in a rare shade of green (the same color is found inside the leather-draped cabin). It rides on 20-inch wheels and sports Villa d'Este styling with golden accents all around.A six-liter V12 teams up with an eight-speed automatic transmission to produce 580 PS (572 hp / 427 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-

ft) of torque. Adaptive suspension and carbon-ceramic brakes with black calipers are also included.

Aside from the convertible-shaped Zagato Volante (watch the video for another example), the Vanquish model range also included a coupe, a speedster and a three-door wagon.
