AutoTopNL has filmed yet another video of a supercar being tested on a German speedway. This time around, the star of the show is an Aston Martin Vanquish equipped with a 5.9-liter V12.
The second design iteration of the mill pumps out 573 PS (565 hp / 421 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque, which lets the car reach a manufacturer-rated top speed of 295 km/h (184 mph). The driver in the video tries to see if he can reach as high as that on an autobahn.
If you care about spoilers, you may stop reading here and just watch the video. If you would rather know the details, the highest that the speedometer has shown was 293 km/h (182 mph) – slightly below the rated speed, but nothing short of impressive for a decade-old supercar.
The next generation of the Vanquish will be riding on a new platform with transaxle engine layout. The sales are penciled in for 2025.
