Tuner ABT Sportsline will participate in the Essen Motor Show opening on November 30, 2018. It will be bringing at least two tuned cars there, a luxurious RS5-R sports coupe and an Audi B2 retro car.
You have probably already seen the RS5-R, which the atelier issued in a series of 50 cars, each armed with an 530-hp (395-kW) engine. So let’s instead concentrate on the Audi B2.
The white body of the classical car now sports a wide body kit in the Audi Sport Quattro style. The stock engine has been improved through the installation of an intercooler and a large turbocharger, bringing its performance up from 220 hp (164 kW) to 260 hp (194 kW). Not bad, considering the age of the car and the fact that it only weighs around 1,300 kg (2,860 lb).
To bring the retro vehicle up to date, ABT Sportline gave it a sports exhaust system, custom wheels wrapped in Dunlop tires, lowered suspension, an on-demand differential and some interior upgrades.
