Audi Q4 e-tron first design sketches revealed

Audi has released a few early sketches showing its all-electric SUV called the Q4 e-tron. The concept car will debut next month, while the final production version won’t be ready until much closer to 2021.

On the outside, the car stays true to the main design philosophy of the marque. With narrow-slit headlights and a radiator grille with large air intakes at both sides, its front fascia is somewhat reminiscent of the Q8.

As you may see on the images, the lower bumper houses the backlit word “e-tron”, which is something Audi applies to all of its EVs.

The company remains silent about any kind of technical details. If we had to guess, we would say the new Q4 e-tron may end up with an adapted version of the existing e-tron engine (360 hp / 268 kW, driving range 400 km / 250 mi).

Another image provided by the manufacturer shows the inside space of the concept car, dominated by a digital dashboard and housing numerous touch panels. Overall, the interior looks conceived in the style of the e-tron GT.
