German auto concern
intrigued the public with the image of a new model, which appeared on the
company's official page in social networks. Under the teaser of the mysterious
car there is an inscription: "Guest from the future". No data on the
novelty has yet been disclosed.
Immediately visited the idea
that this is a car with thin-film solar panels built into the panoramic roof,
as the teaser shows exactly the top part of the car. About him in Audi said in
August this year: "In the future, solar panels are planned to cover almost
the entire surface of the roof. The energy they generate will flow into the
electric system of the car. It can provide power, for example, an air
conditioning system or seat heating - this should positively affect the
efficiency, which will have a positive effect on the increase in the electric
motor's power reserve".
The project is being
developed jointly with Alta Devices, a subsidiary of Hanergy, specializing in
the production and application of solar batteries.

will appear in front of the public at the upcoming auto show in Frankfurt.
