Audi e-tron Sportback to roll into showrooms before the end of 2019

Audi has revealed its e-tron Sportback Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, promising to make the coupe-SUV available for purchase later this year.

There is still no detailed technical information on the Sportback. The company limits itself to saying that, just like the regular Audi e-tron, the car takes advantage of the modified MLB chassis and sports the Audi Quattro 4WD system. It also supports 150 kW DC rapid charge stations.

It could be surmised that the Sportback has the same basic powertrain as the regular e-tron, namely, a duo of electric motors jointly rated at 360 hp (268 kW) and a 95 kWh traction battery sufficient for up to 400 kilometers (250 miles) of driving.

The original Audi e-tron features an advanced power regeneration system which enables to win back up to 30% of the power spent. It also comes with electronic roll stabilization and 7 selectable drive modes.
