In the UK sales began of special versions of the
"hot" Audi RS4 Avant and Audi RS5 Coupe, which received the name
Carbon Edition. Thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber in body parts, cars
"lost weight" from 60 to 80 kilograms in relation to the weight of
standard models.
To be more precise, the "charged" Audi RS4
Avant Carbon Edition and the Audi RS5 Coupe Carbon Edition were equipped with a
front spoiler, diffuser and sill extensions, exterior mirror cases made of
lightweight materials, and all metal bodywork was decided to be made of brushed
aluminum. In addition to this, a special version of the Carbon Edition boasts a
new 20-inch "rollers" made of aluminum alloy.
In addition, a new version of the Audi RS5 Coupe coupe
received a carbon rear spoiler and a roof of a similar material.
In the salon of both cars, you can see the seats
trimmed with high-quality black Nappa leather, with contrasting stitches, and
carbon inserts. In addition, this coupe and station wagon was equipped with an
advanced multimedia system with an 8.3-inch touchscreen monitor and a 12.3 -inch
digital instrument panel.
Motor range of models Audi RS4 Avant Carbon Edition
and Audi RS5 Coupe Carbon Edition is represented by one single six-cylinder
engine of 2.9 liters. Its power is 450 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque.
The cost of new products exceeds the price of standard
models. In the UK, the Audi RS4 Avant Carbon Edition will be asked for at least
71,625 pounds sterling, and for the Audi RS5 Coupe Carbon Edition - 75,400
pounds sterling.
