The German company has presented its development for
racing in the electric "Formula E". The novelty was named Audi e-tron
FE04. Interesting is the fact that this is the first machine with which the
company will become an official participant of the series. By the way, at the
moment the factory team of Audi is based on the collective ABT, which is
reflected in the name - Team Audi Sport ABT.
The presentation of the car did not become the last
surprise presented by Audi. Also, the names of the pilots were announced, which
will play for Team Audi Sport ABT in the season 2017/2018. They were: Daniel
Abt (number 66) and Lucas di Grassi (number 1). By the way, at the moment the
latter is the current champion of "Formula E". The head of the Team
Team Audi Sport ABT is the former well-known racer Alan McNish.
It should be noted that Audi e-tron FE04 received a
completely new color. If earlier all the Audi cars from the ABT sported a
bright red color, then the novelty differs in the white-green range. However,
completely to remove the red color from the bodywork of the creators did not
dare to keep the brand recognition.
