Audi and Sony Pictures Entertainment have released a three-minute long video that brings us back to Spiderman’s school days. According to the script, Peter Parker takes part in a science expo, but his project isn’t nearly as interesting as those of the other participants. Unexpectedly, S.H.I.E.L.D. come to the rescue with their latest innovation, a vehicle called the ‘2025’.
The 2025 is essentially an Audi e-tron GT that packs 590 horsepower (440 kilowatts), sprints from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and has at least 400 kilometers (250 miles) of range. In the end, Peter and his friend Ned come up with the idea to pass the vehicle off as their own project, with predictable results.
This is not the first time Audi vehicles enjoy screen time in Marvel movies. For instance, Iron Man featured an R8, and the next movie in the Spiderman: Homecoming series will star as many as three Audi vehicles: an all-electric e-tron, a Q8, and an A7.
