German automaker Quattro GmbH together with the name Audi Sport received a new head of the technical development department of Oliver Hoffmann. Now the company sets ambitious goals - to develop by 2020 five new models. By the way, Hoffmann previously was responsible for quality control in the production of Lamborghini and engine building at the Hungarian Audi factory.
While more complete information about the new products being developed is not presented. At the moment Audi Sport produces R8, RS3, RS4 Avant, RS5, RS6 Avant, RS7 Sportback, RS Q3 and TT RS - only 11 models. As auto experts suggest, in the future the company will release the RS5 cabriolet and RS versions of the crossovers Q2, Q5, Q7 and the future Q8.
We will remind, Hoffman has entered a new post on October, 1st, having replaced Stefan Rail in this post. Oliver Hoffman is known for his contribution to the development of the V10 engine for the Audi R8.
