The " fully equipped" Audi RS hatchback 3 Sportback was shown to public through the online presentation on the eve of the official premiere, which will be held at Geneva auto show in March.
All-wheel drive five-door model has a turbocharged engine with 2.5 liters. Engine power increased by 33 hp and now makes 400 hp. The mass of the power plant decreased by 30 kg. As transmission there is 7-staged "robot". Hatchback's acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h makes 4.1 seconds.
Exterior changes appeared in the general stylistics of restyling Audi A3. The car got larger wheel rims and more brutal aerodynamic weather-cloth with silvery elements.
Inside there are leather-trimmed seats, a multimedia system, supporting Google Earth and Google Street View. There is also a system of "automatic pilot for traffic jams", which will be able to keep a distance between cars when driving on busy city streets.
Sales of the updated Audi RS3 Sportback in Europe start in August, 2017. The preorder can be made in April.
