Audi has revealed plans to release a brand-new, all-electric е-tron Gran Turismo coupé in 2020. The project is currently being carried out by its subdivision, Audi Sport.
According to a representative of the company, the car will get an incredibly powerful engine with excellent acceleration properties. Nothing more specific is being disclosed at the moment, though.
The new Audi e-tron Gran Turismo is likely to see its initial release in China and the U.S.A. It will belong to the ‘environmentally-friendly’ vehicle lineup. Audi hopes to release 20 hybrid and all-electric production cars by 2025.
