Media in Europe are getting reports that Audi is considering laying off up to 15 percent of its total workforce in order to keep expenses down.
Workers directly involved in car manufacturing and assembling processes will be prioritized for keeping, while office employees may get furloughed, the sources say. This notably includes designers, developments and engineers.
