Audi only produced 333 units of its A1 quattro model, so it should not come as a surprise that one just cropped up on sale for a healthy amount of £54,000.
The white compact hatchback is in excellent condition with barely over 16,000 km (10,000 miles) under its belt and full maintenance done recently. The drive belts, plugs, pump and liquids have all been replaced.
Elsewhere, the hot hatch rides on stock 18-inch wheels and sports a black leather cabin with red stitching and a red-backed tachometer. The bucket seats feature integrated headrests, and the steering wheel is squared off from below.
Out of the 333 total units, only 19 were bought new in Great Britain, and none of them right-hand-drive. As of right now, only 11 A1 models remain in the UK.
The original Audi A1 quattro debuted nine years ago (watch the video for an overview). The car featured substantial chassis and transmission improvements, AWD, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 256 PS (252 hp / 188 kW). A manual transmission delivered the momentum to the four wheels, taking the hot hatch from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds and ultimately all the way to 245 km/h (152 mph).
