BBS, a wheel manufacturer and part of KW Automotive Group, has announced a new rim set called CI-R Unlimited and meant for the Audi A3. The ‘Unlimited’ part refers to the extensive customization capabilities.
19-inch and 20-inch versions of the wheel will ship starting in September, while the 21-inch version will have to wait until later. Each comes with five Y-shaped, curved spoke pairs that can be seen here depicted with a Bronze Silk Matte finish. The manufacturer lists a dozen or so extra finishes on its website. In addition to the color, you can pick the rim width (from 8 to 12 inches) and hub adapter diameter (from 14 to 50 mm).
Monolithic construction and the presence of cavities enable the wheels to weigh considerably less than factory originals, although you will have to contact BBS for any specifics. The same applies to the pricing, which is already available upon direct request.
