As you may remember, German suspension parts manufacturer AP Sportfahrwerke moved to become part of KW Automotive Group this spring. Now, the company offers racing-spec coilovers compatible with most of the B9 Audi A4 range.
The height-adjustable springs are compatible with the regular A4 (sedan/saloon) and its Avant version (estate/wagon). Depending on the particular axle geometry (there are different options on offer), the maximal lowering will amount to between 30 and 65 millimeters (1.17 – 2.54 inches). As a result, the center of gravity will go further down, the handling will improve, and the rolling will be mostly eliminated.
Different suspension kits are available for FWD and AWD versions of the A4, and prices start from €729. The CNG-powered Audi A4 Avant g-tron is not supported because of ride height restrictions specific to CNG vehicles.
