We’ve seen quite a few radical tuning proposals for the Audi A4 lately, but this one blows most of them clear out of the water.
The tuners started with a front-driven 2008 Audi A4 (B8). The production car shipped with a manual transmission and a two-liter diesel engine. The upgrade left none of the above.
To begin with, the team unmounted the stock engine and replaced it with a naturally-aspirated 4,2-liter gasoline V8 capable of 380 hp (283 kW) and 460 Nm (339 lb·ft) of torque. Driven by it, the car now accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in just 5.5 seconds. Not bad for a ten-year-old sedan, not bad indeed.
The engineers then upgraded it to AWD and automatic transmission, installed TT RS brakes, a set of wheels clad in Michelin performance tires, adjustable suspension and an extensive body kit with a massive rear spoiler.
To round things up and make the upgraded Audi A4 B8 stand out against the competition, it gained a DTM-inspired racing livery.
