The facelifted Audi A4 Allroad (B9) has everything going for it except engine power. The top 45 TFSI quattro S tronic trim only packs 245 hp (183 kW), and while the diesel-chugging 50 TDI quattro tiptronic pulls ahead with 286 hp (213 kW), it still falls a bit short of expectations. With no options left, tuning is the way to go!
This is what the U.S. team from Pacific German did with this pre-facelift A4 Allroad. Instead of trying to squeeze more horses out of the stock engine, the guys swapped it out for the superior engine and transmission of the S4 Allroad sedan/saloon. They call the result the B9 S4 Allroad, and this is what it looks like, indeed.
A simple ECU tune from ABT Sportsline was applied and the entire exhaust system upgraded to boost the V6 power from its standard 354 hp (264 kW) to 430 hp (321 kW). Nice!
Pacific German proceeded to lower the stock air suspension of the A4 Allroad, installing Rotiform forged wheels with red centerlocks, and refurbishing the interior with natural leather, bucket seats, a squared-off steering wheel, and an RS5-style gear stick.
