Buyers may now consider getting their A5 in the performance-oriented SQ5 Sportback version featuring a range-topping diesel engine and a coupe-like body.
The three-liter diesel-chugging V6 has a 48V starter-generator assisting it during acceleration, and can turn itself off and on to improve fuel economy. An eight-speed automatic transmission and Quattro AWD send the power to the wheels, taking the coupe/SUV from zero to 100 kilometers per hour (62 mph) in 5.1 seconds and ultimately to 250 km/h (155 mph).
Standard equipment includes 20-inch wheels, a classical dashboard, a climate control system and seats wrapped in combination upholstery.
