The Audi A5 Avant will be revealed in its full glory tomorrow, July 16.
In this new generation, both the A4 sedan and the A4 Avant wagon get renamed to “A5” to avoid confusion with Audi’s electric models. The A4 nameplate will later be used on EVs. In short, this means the new A5 lineup should be largely comparable to the old A4.
Aside from exposing the A5 backside, Audi has made two important announcements. Apparently, the all-electric A6 e-tron will hit the spotlight before the end of the current month. The gas-powered Q5 lineup will premiere sometime in the fall.
