ABT powers up the hybrid Audi lineup

Daniel Abt and his tuning shop, Abt Sportsline, have announced a tuning plan for the Audi 50 and 55 TFSI e, which envisions an engine power boost along with some exterior tweaks.

In its factory guise, both specs use an internal combustion engine rated at 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. An electric motor assists it with 34 PS (34 hp / 25 kW) in the lower spec and 102 PS (101 hp / 75 kW) in the higher spec.

Adding an ABT Engine Control unit helps the 50 TFSI e to produce 357 PS (352 hp / 263 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. Things get even livelier for the 55 TFSI e, which enjoys 425 PS (419 hp / 313 kW) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft).

Also on offer for all supported models are assorted body kit parts, trim pieces and sporty-looking wheels. Refer to the Abt Configurator on the tuner’s official website for more information.
